It’s great when a project comes along and it is innately visual. It’s a tough job for the graphic designer when a project doesn’t lend itself naturally to an image; then you’ve got to connect it to some motif abstractly and it’ll only be successful if that motif connects to that idea in the wider culture easily–no matter who is the viewer. So, when you get a theme to work with that is already visual, it’s a joy! Water Walkers, the first message series of 2015 at Evangel in Montréal, QC, is a perfect example of that for me.
